The holiday season is one of my favorite times of year to photograph. There is something so special about capturing your family together during a season filled with so much joy, tradition, and celebration.

My goal is to make your holiday mini session feel easy, relaxed, and fun for the whole family. I will guide you through posing while also capturing the sweet, candid moments in between. The laughs, little hugs, and genuine interactions that make your family yours.

Whether you are updating your annual family photos, creating the perfect holiday card, or simply documenting this season of life, I am so excited to create beautiful images you can look back on for years to come.

How it works...

1. Select Your Time & Book

Choose your preferred available time slot and complete your booking. Your session time is reserved once your booking and payment are complete.

2. Arrive 5 Minutes Early

Please arrive at our designated meeting spot at least 5 minutes before your scheduled session. Holiday Minis are booked back to back, so sessions must begin and end on time. Any time missed due to late arrival will be deducted from your 15-minute session.

3. Your Holiday Mini

We’ll spend 15 minutes capturing a mix of beautiful family portraits and sweet, candid moments. I’ll guide you through everything so we can make the most of our time together!

4. Choose Your Favorites

Within 24 hours, you’ll receive a proof gallery where you can select the 15 images included with your session. Love more than 15? You’ll have the option to purchase additional images directly from your proof gallery.

5. Receive Your Final Gallery

Once your favorites have been selected, your images will be professionally edited and delivered in a high-resolution online gallery within 2 weeks. Just in time for holiday cards, gifts, and sharing with family!

Important Notes regarding proofs

Proof galleries are watermarked and intended for selection purposes only.

Proof images are not final edited deliverables.

Exposure, tones, and colors may appear slightly different in proofs, as all final images receive professional refinement during final editing.

RAW files and unedited images are not provided to keep under any circumstances

FAQ

What should we wear?

I recommend coordinating rather than matching! Neutrals, creams, warm tones, soft textures, and classic holiday colors photograph beautifully. Try to avoid large logos, busy patterns, and overly bright colors. Most importantly, choose outfits that feel like you and that you feel comfortable in!

How early should we arrive?

Please arrive at our designated meeting spot at least 5 minutes before your scheduled session time. Holiday Minis are booked back to back, so it is very important that we stay on schedule.

what happens if we are late?

Your session will still end at its originally scheduled time. Any time missed due to late arrival will be deducted from your 15-minute session. Unfortunately, sessions cannot be extended due to another family being scheduled directly after you.

How many photos are included?

Your Holiday Mini includes 15 professionally edited images of your choice.

WHAT IF MY KIDS DO NOT COOPERATE?

That is completely okay! Kids are kids, and I never expect them to sit perfectly and smile the entire time. We will keep things moving, have some fun, and capture your family as you are. Sometimes the candid moments end up being the favorites!

WHEN WILL WE RECEIVE OUR PHOTOS?

You will receive a proof gallery within 24 hours of your session. Once you select your favorite images, your final edited gallery will be delivered within 2 weeks.

CAN WE BRING OUR PET?

Yes! Pets are part of the family too. Please make sure they are comfortable around other people and pets, and bring a leash, treats, or anything else that may help get their attention. Please also bring someone who can hold your pet for any photos you would like without them included.

WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS?

If weather conditions make it impossible to photograph safely, you will be contacted with information regarding the designated rain date. Please keep both the original session date and rain date available when booking.

CAN WE RESCHEDULE OUR SESSION?

Because Holiday Minis are limited and scheduled back to back on specific dates, individual rescheduling is not guaranteed. Please make sure you are available for your selected date and time before booking.

CAN EXTENDED FAMILY JOIN US?

Holiday Minis are designed for immediate families. If you would like photos with grandparents, multiple households, or a larger extended family, please reach out before booking so we can determine the best session option for you.
