Brandon and Morgan’s wedding day was the perfect mix of intimate, coastal, and quintessentially Florida. Their ceremony took place beneath the banyan trees at the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse, followed by newlywed portraits around the historic lighthouse grounds.
A Wedding Ceremony Under the Banyan Trees in Jupiter, Florida
One of the most beautiful parts of a Jupiter Lighthouse wedding is how much natural scenery is packed into one location. Brandon and Morgan exchanged vows beneath the sprawling banyan trees, surrounded by lush greenery and the unmistakable charm of coastal Jupiter, Florida.
The banyans created such a romantic setting for their ceremony. With the branches stretching overhead and sunlight filtering through the trees, the space felt intimate and completely connected to the natural landscape around the Jupiter Inlet.
As a Jupiter, Florida wedding photographer, I love wedding locations that already have so much character. Rather than needing an elaborate ceremony setup, the banyan trees created a beautiful backdrop all on their own.
Wedding Portraits at the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse
After the ceremony, we explored the grounds for Brandon and Morgan’s wedding portraits, incorporating the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse into their gallery.
The red lighthouse is one of the most recognizable landmarks in Palm Beach County and made the perfect contrast against the greenery, blue Florida sky, and neutral tones of their wedding attire. We created a mix of classic portraits, candid movement, and more editorial images while still allowing the setting to be a major part of their photographs.
This is one of my favorite things about photographing weddings in Jupiter. Within such a small area, you can move from lush tropical greenery and banyan trees to waterfront views and one of South Florida’s most iconic landmarks.
Getting Married at the Jupiter Lighthouse
For couples dreaming of a wedding that feels romantic, intimate, and distinctly South Florida, the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse is such a beautiful option. The historic grounds, banyan trees, waterfront surroundings, and lighthouse provide so much variety for both the ceremony and wedding portraits.
Brandon and Morgan’s day was a beautiful example of why I love photographing weddings in Jupiter: meaningful moments, incredible Florida scenery, and portraits that feel timeless while still capturing exactly where their story took place.
If you’re planning a Jupiter Lighthouse wedding, Palm Beach wedding, or South Florida wedding, I would love to document your day in a way that feels natural, elevated, and true to you.
